Taking a Standard with other Items
I understand that every unit is armed with a knife as standard equipment. However, if I equip my support hero (or another unit) with a standard, can I also equip them with another weapon, shield or other item? In other words, are there limitations to equipping them?

Hi Kenntak, No there are no limitations on how much equipment a particular unit can take. It's just up to you how heavily armed you want a unit to be compared to their cost. For example, I usually take my heavy cavalry with both lance and sword so I can get the chance to automatically wound when I charge and then switch to the sword in close combat so I get +1s to attack rolls. And I usually take both sling and pilum for my Imperial Romans so I can get attacks in at long range from the sling and switch to the Pilum when I get closer to the enemy. Makes the troops more expensive but I find they work well for how I usually play.
