Chariots in Melee, Multiple Units in Combat
Question 1: Chariots can only take ranged weapons or morale equipment. What happens if the chariot is attacked in melee combat, it has no melee weapons? Does it just wait to lose a combat and hope that it can retreat 1" and get away next turn? This would not work if it is surrounded and it becomes desperate.
Question 2: If one friendly unit is in combat with 2 or more enemy units, the enemy units pool their attack dice during the combat. If the one friendly unit was able to win, and causes a wound, does the friendly unit get to choose which enemy is wounded?

Hi Kenntak, Apologies I missed these clarifications. I am adding them for PDF's and future prints of the books. Question 1 clarification will be added to the special rules page and question 2 clarification will be added to the wounding page. 1: Chariots and Elephants make standard unmodified attack rolls when fighting in melee. 2: If multiple units have been defeated and the wound could be applied to multiple units, the player controlling the defeated units chooses where to apply the wound. However if a Hero defeated multiple units in combat, the player controlling the hero can choose where it is applied.
Very sorry about that.
