Campaign Playtesting

Hi Everyone! I have now reached the point where I am able to begin playtesting for the campaign system. The core campaign mechanics will be completely free! However I am working on a greater campaign system that will include multiple campaign maps and factions relating to that specific campaign.


This campaign is based on a territory capture system similar to Risk or the Total War franchise with players gaining bonuses for each territory gained and gaining better bonuses for capturing Critical Territories. Currently the Critical Territories give a higher point bonus to the controlling player however for the sold book version with different campaigns, these will turn into unique bonuses specific to each campaign.


The current campaign document includes:

  • Instructions on how to play the campaign

  • The first campaign map (The British Isles)

  • Player tokens for the campaign map.


And now it brings me to where I need you! As this feature will be free anyway I would like your help in making it as good as possible and so it is open to everyone and anyone to playtest. Please let me know if you enjoy the system, what works and what doesn't and any other ideas you might have for the system that could work.


My hope for the system is that it could enable a campaign to be played within one day although I know it could be over a couple of sessions.
