When I first attended Legionary in Exeter 2 years ago, Brethren was little more than a developed idea. Now it's a fully released ruleset of a Rulebook and 2 Faction books covering 2 different settings, with 20 designed Factions with unique rules.

Notepads that were little more than a handful of notes.

Almost a year later, I had developed a siege system with defences and siege weapons allowing for further ways to play. With Legionary 2024 only a few months later I hadn't gotten around to advancing development much more so I showed off an identical display.

Now fully released. It was great to share a fully finished product with everyone and see their reactions to what the game has now become. There have been some major changes to how the game was when it was first designed but it's not lost the feel that I wanted it to have when I first began designing it.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped get the game finished! It's been one hell of a journey and I'm still planning on improving it and developing more content, such as the campaign system which I wanted to implement from the beginning but became a bigger task to playtest than originally thought.
I'm looking forward to sharing more at events next year and potentially heading further afield to share Brethren with gamers outside of the south west of the UK.
Thanks for reading and thanks for your support!!!
Matt
